Our true passion for old buildings began over 20 years ago in rural France when we moved there and began transforming a number of old properties (ours and other people's) over a period of 6 years. Prior to this Jez had undertaken a City and Guilds in General Building and had worked as a painter and decorator for a number of years. France was a great adventure and a big learning curve as we honed our skills in all areas of traditional building techniques from traditional stone walling to roofing, pointing and rendering. Since returning to the UK we became involved in a large number of restoration projects and more recently have begun to specialise in breathable paint solutions for lime-rendered properties.

 

There is nothing we love more than seeing the transformation of beautiful, traditional buildings and seek to find solutions that are long-lasting and cost-effective. All the paint systems that we use are environmentally friendly and we are excited to work with some really sustainable and cutting-edge paint systems that are revolutionising

breathable paint. Niki has a background in design and can also advise on color and finish to get the look you are going for.

Because of the number of varied projects that we have worked on over the years we can project manage your renovation, gather and manage quotes, book and manage trades and advise on the different approaches to take. We pride ourselves on keeping to time and communicating with you every step of the way so that there are no nasty surprises.
